For more information on what the title blacklist is for, and the processes used here, please see Title blacklist/About.

[edit] Proposed additions

This section is for proposing that a page title be blacklisted; add new entries at the bottom of the section. Provide links demonstrating widespread creation by multiple users or IP's. Completed requests will be marked as done or denied and archived.

When this goes live, to stop index.php spam pages:

(?:.*?\/)?index\.php(?:\/.*)?

Done While not live for WMF, there are wikis using this on subscription now. ~Kylu (u|t) 00:11, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ubuntu and Linux

Added them because some vandal created this page in English across about 50 wikis (iirc). See http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Multilingual_speedy_deletions/Bot-reported&oldid=967540 . To be removed after 6 or 12 hours — VasilievVV 16:11, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed removals

This section is for proposing that a title be unlisted; please add new entries at the bottom of the section. Remember to provide the specific title or regex blacklisted, links to the articles they are used in or useful to, and arguments in favour of unlisting. Completed requests will be marked as done or denied and archived. See also /recurring requests for repeatedly proposed (and refused) removals. The addition or removal of a title is not a vote, please do not bold the first words in statements.

Could you please undo the edit of June 1st ([1]), at least the lines related to Wikipedia, Help, and Portal namespaces? We are encountering inconvenience because of this edit. --Aotake 13:09, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I've reverted to the old regexes. Any admin is welcome to help create some really really good regexes to stop HAGGER pages. Should stop these ones and those ones. I will hopefully return and try my hand again later.  – Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 13:17, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick action. The problem we had in JAWP was that we needed admins' help to move a page titled ja:Portal:食/新着項目. Since I don't know anything about regexes, I don't know how that happened, and therefore have no idea how we can work it out, but I believe there are many people who can take care of it properly. Thanks! --Aotake 13:28, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Troubleshooting and problems

This section is for comments related to problems with the blacklist (such as incorrect syntax or entries not being blocked), or problems saving a page because of a blacklisted title. This is not the section to request that an entry be unlisted (see Proposed removals above).
