- Abstract (maximum 500 words)
- Humanities students are becoming more and more dependent on Wikipedia and other Wiki resources in India. This trend is creating a big trouble to the knowledge base of our students. The easy availability of information is neutralizing the thirst for actual knowledge, which is more important than mere information. The students of Humanities, specially of Literature, needs to be original. Now the students make copies from Wiki and other digital resources in their research projects also. This presentation aims to draw attention of the digital media workers and engineers to this bad trend of studying Literature and other subjects in Humanities. Also, this presentation will propose some corrective measure to channelize the young brains towards diverse knowledge base through Wikipedia.
