Let Wiki methodology be applied to a wiki to be sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation, perhaps WikiLegislator, such wiki designed to facilitate the development of new prospective legislation.
Those who have ideas for new statutes could initiate bills; and the community could work on developing the ideas to maturity through the wiki method. Once developed to maturity the bills could then be promoted by the community through the regular political discourse.
This could encourage participatory democracy. It could also open up bottlenecks that prevent the rise and initiation of great ideas in government.
- In response to to the similar for Proposal for Wikibill, Kookykman indicated that "This would be messy. It would cause major opinion clashes and it would have to be compatible with every country's governmental system." to which the undersigned responded, "Wikibill could indeed be very messy. It could cause major opinion clashes. No worry; Wikis can be excellent for bringing order out of chaos and resolving major opinion clashes. Dionysios does not understand how Wikibill would have to be compatible with every country's governmental system." This also would apply to WikiLegislator.
