This is the Wikidata summary of the week before 2012-06-08.

Development

• Updated demo system
• MediaWiki hackathon
• More bug squashing on Wikidata repo
• Refactored the Wikidata client code
• Cleaned up the Wikidata branch and prepared for the merge&review session with Tim Starling next week
• Worked on implementation of item aliases in the user interface
• Had a very useful discussion with a bot programmer that use our present API to get feedback and improve it
• Revised layout prototypes
• More infrastructure and getting our setup at labs reviewed by the super special experts at the Foundation
• Added extra unit tests and fixed all broken tests for all extension except the API tests
• Added extra interfaces for change notification and handling
• Investigated how to integrate the Wikidata sitelinks with existing languagelink and interwikilink functionality
