A resolution forming a secretariat for Wikimedia Hong Kong had passed on the 10^th meeting of the Provisional Directory, according to article 4.13, the Articles of Association of Wikimedia Hong Kong Limited. The staff list and task had been renewed on the 1^st meeting of the 1^st Directory.

The mission of the secretariat is to handle all the paperworks related to the Chapter, and coordinates different commissions when they need to work together.

[edit] Tasks

• to prepare documents that the Directory had asked
• to handle part of the communications that mentioned by Directory resolutions
• to draft proposals & reports for the Directory
• to handle membership-related and general inquiries about the Chapter
• to coordinate works of different commissions
• other tasks that demanded by the Directory

[edit] Personnel

The secretariat shall be led by the Secretary of the Chapter, the Current Secretary of the Chapter is Mr. Y. Y. Lee

The duties and works are handled by Administrative Assistants and Advisors. Current staff includes:

A resolution forming a Treasury for Wikimedia Hong Kong had passed the 1^st meeting of the 1^st Directory, according to article 4.13, the Articles of Association of Wikimedia Hong Kong Limited.

The mission of such Treasury is responsible for finance of the Chapter.

[edit] Tasks

• to provide advices & reminders to the Directory on financial issue
• to manage the finance of the chapter
• to conduct fund raising programs, and deal with the Wikimedia Foundation in relevant process
• to draft financial plans, proposal and reports of the chapter

The Treasury shall be led by the Treasurer of the Chapter, the Current Secretary of the Chapter is Mr. Terence Yuen

The duties and works are handled by Administrative Assistants and Advisors. Current staff includes:

A resolution forming a Communications Commission for Wikimedia Hong Kong had passed the 1^st meeting of the 1^st, to replace the Communications Committee of the Provisional Directory Era, according to article 4.13, the Articles of Association of Wikimedia Hong Kong Limited.

The mission of such Communications Commission (CommComm) is responsible for providing advice and material on the communication towards the general public and internal publics like Wikimedia Foundation and local Wikimedian Communities.

[edit] Tasks

• To provide advices & reminders to the Directory on Communication issue
• To alert the Directory whenever a possible PR or Communications crisis may occur between any publics & the chapter
• To gather & collection idea & opinions from all the publics & members of the chapter
• To take care of the management of the Press release and the Newsletter

The Communications Commission is led by S. C. So, one of the Directors, according to resolution passed on the 1^st meeting of the 1^st Directory.

The duties and works are handled by Administrative Assistants and Advisors. Current staff includes:

A resolution forming a Outreach Commission for Wikimedia Hong Kong had passed the 1^st meeting of the 1^st Directory,to replace and continue the mission of Task Force for Chinese Wikimedia Conference 2009 in the Provisional Directory Era, according to article 4.13, the Articles of Association of Wikimedia Hong Kong Limited.

The mission of such Outreach Commission (ORComm) is responsible for conducting outreach programs towards the local general public, especially collaboration with local friendly counterparts.

• To provide advices & reminders to the Directory on Outreach issue
• To conducts outreach programs towards the local general public
• To maintain the contacts with the local free culture and relevant communities

The Outreach Commission is led by C. F. Cheung, one of the Directors, according to resolution passed on the 1^st meeting of the 1^st Directory.
