Wikimedia Kenya

Wikimedia Kenya is an effort to organize volunteers in the Republic of Kenya. This chapter was approved by the Chapters Committee on February 6, 2012, turning it into the 39th Wikimedia chapter.[1]

- A photo-walk around Nairobi City as part of preparations for a nationwide Wiki-loves-Monuments (this successfully took place on 25 February 2012).
- Possible Collaborations with a Museum to have their material online under CC or Public Domain (first steps undertaken when visiting the Railway Museum on 25 February 2012 plus subsequent communication).
- Wikimedia Project for Kenyan Schools
