Wikimedia Kenya
From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
Wikimedia Kenya is an effort to organize volunteers in the Republic of Kenya. This chapter was approved by the Chapters Committee on February 6, 2012 and provisionally recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, turning it into the 39th Wikimedia chapter.[1]. However, the group never incorporated and did not maintain a level of activity, and the provisional recognition expired in February 2013. The group may seek to renew its affiliation with the Wikimedia movement as a Wikimedia User Group.
