The Wikimedia Treasurer is a position held by a member of the Board of Trustees as specified in the Wikimedia Foundation bylaws. Michael Davis currently holds this position effective Aug 14, 2005 to Aug 13, 2006.
Treasurer will oversee the finances at the end of the year, and occasionally during the year, but the CFO will be responsible for this on a more day-to-day basis.
The executive secretary shall receive monies for the corporation, issue checks on those monies, and keep and render as required true accounting thereof.
