Thank you for participating in the first cycle of Wikimedia Mission Activities Grants, focused on Chapters. In order to strengthen this process and explore expanding Mission Activities Grants to others, we need your feedback on how the process went. [edit] Proposal Review and Acceptance Process

  • Why limit this to chapters / chapter members?
    If this is for the sake of organization, there should be an incubation 'chapter' for anyone who isn't part of an existing chapter.
    If this is for the sake of authority? vetting? oversight? these things should be asked for specifically in the proposal process, with "chapter [oversight]" and a named person in a local chapter accepted as a canonical answer to how the grants progress would be overseen.

  • Please share good examples of reporting and sharing experiences.
  • This could turn into friendly guidelines for regular public reporting, if only "publish the following sort of data at the end of 6 months"

[edit] What would help the Mission Activities Grants have a larger impact on: Participation, Reach, Quality and Credibility?

  • I don't think P/Q/R are an effective measure of the success of our mission -- as opposed to, say, Empowerment, Education, and Effectiveness. How about linking back to the Mission itself instead of using this shorthand? -- sj · translate · + 13:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
