I'd like to help out on OTRS because I believe that I will be useful. I have experience in dealing with copyvios at Czech Wikipedia and in many cases it should be very helpful for me to get access to OTRS. Podzemnik 09:00, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Being Commons administrator, sometimes wiki-pl users direct to me people with licensing problems, seeking explanation and someone to guide them through the whole process of declaring license for their pictures. Each time I could guide them only to the moment when they had to send an email to OTRS with license declaration - then I had to look for someone with OTRS permissions to help with that case. With access to OTRS, I could be more effective with helping others.

I would like to help mainly with commons queue, but if it'd be necessary, I can also look at other ones. --Leafnode 12:32, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
*every help would be appreciated for Commons queue. Besides that Leafnode proved many times that he is calm, trustworthy wikipedian, so he will be great help in reducing Commons permission lag. Masur 13:22, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I'm an administrator in ruwiki and I often deal with images with disputed licences. Recently I had to apply to someone with access to OTRS several times. So I think if I have access to OTRS myself, I'll be able to work with images more productively and save other users' time. Blacklake 07:55, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I believe I can give a honest and true effort to the Wikimedia projects. I am dedicated to the success of Wikimedia projects and am humbled to be part of the English Wikipedia. I do not yet have any positions above that of a regular editor, but I believe that I can make many valuable contributions. I am an excellent verbal communicator (as I am hoping to become part of the VoiceMail response team, pursuant to DanielB's request) and have excellent written communication skills. I am a great team player and know when to elevate things and when to ask for help. I sincerely hope I can be allowed to begin helping, in whatever role you find is appropriate. • I think you could benefit from more experience at the English Wikipedia before taking on a task like OTRS. While adminship is not necessarily a requirement, and you are a good editor, your RfA at the English Wikipedia was closed, per lack of experience, last month. A look over your recent contributions shows good maintenance work, but no evidence of handling the sort of disputes you might face on OTRS. Just a thought. I'd would like the help with the photo-submission queue, I spoke to some people and it the queue seems to be backlogged or sometimes be backlogged, as Commons Administrator I know what kind of license a file needs to be accepted on Commons, I also know pretty good how a OTRS works, and have some permissions archived in the system and give advice how to email permissions to OTRS on my talk page on Commons.

I'm a administrator on Commons, Meta and Incubator and am/was a member for the LiCom, I'm already identified to the Foundation because the work I did for the license migration vote.

My main goal to volunteer is the photo-submission queue, when the administrators would trust me enough I would be happy to help with other Commons related queues also, but it isn't my main goal to volunteer on. Huib talk 17:53, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've been an administrator on the English Wikipedia for about half a year, and a registered user for nearly three years. I'm making this request in response to this request for volunteers to respond to voicemail inquiries. The nature of my employment leaves me with periods of free time throughout the day, and I would like use that time to make those responses. I also believe I have shown level-headedness in disputes with newbies, and would like to respond to emails regarding En-Wiki content issues as well. Thank you.
