Discussion[edit]
- As an admin, I rarely want the talk page deleted. It could for example be that I delete an article, and the longer explanation to or discussion behind the decision to do is available on the talk page and should be kept there. To automatically do this, you'd want the admins on the train before technical development. /Julle (talk) 15:05, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Julle:If this is not useful for all projects, it can be limited to some projects.Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 15:10, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
Different projects have different policies. For example on the Finnish Wikipedia we have a policy to delete talk pages of non existed pages, but sometimes we want to keep them for example if there was an important discussion. Stryn (talk) 16:54, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
- Our policy is always keeping talk pages of deleted pages, so the people could know why the page was deleted. IKhitron (talk) 12:07, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
Possible solution: If there exists talk page for page, admin should be warned (talk page for this page exists, do you want to delete it too?) and should select checkbox. JAn Dudík (talk) 13:04, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- The survey has a limit of three proposals per person; archiving this one at the proposer's request. -- DannyH (WMF) (talk) 21:45, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
