Upload-Wizard should remember the uploaders name

Problem:

Whenever I upload a self-taken picture to Commons with the Default-Uploaderpage ("Upload-Wizzard"), the name with the name of the author contains my username but I want my real name to be specified there. So every time I have to replace my username by my real name. It's especially annoying since the auto-fill of the Browser does not work in this field.

Who would benefit:

Proposed solution: Since the name of user rarely if at all changes it would make sense for the Upload-Wizzard to remember the given name.

More comments: Could be saved in Cookie or on server-side, I don't care but please save it.

And remember not to link to the entire name, maybe? What I want for Commons is to have both my name and my user name, but only link to the user name: "Johan Jönsson (Julle)". /Julle (talk) 15:24, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
