| Please describe any experience you have with conflict resolution and/or consensus building. | My work in managing conflict both professional and volunteering is based on two premises: the search for consensus and the building of peace, especially in the context of the country. Everything is based on evidence, as far as possible, where agreements can be reached that can integrate most of the parties. It is important to note that consensus building involves the surrender of positions. Within consensus building, there must be a spirit of building futures based on coexistence. | |
| In your ideal world, what does the affiliate model and ecosystem look like? | The ideal affiliate ecosystem should be based on a spirit of equity. As previously discussed in the context of Strategy 2030, roles and responsibilities within Wikimedia are uneven, as some affiliates have a high level of organization, while others have low standards of governance and transparency. Professionally, I work in a civil society organization, and from that perspective, I can contribute the experience I have gained in these areas, both in governance and in the creation of internal mechanisms. On the other hand, the global environment makes these differences necessary, as the legal reality of each country is very different, so flexibility in this regard is very important. | |
| In your ideal world, what are AffCom’s roles and responsibilities in relation to the movement and affiliates? | The AffCom must be a guarantor of the Wikimedia movement's organizational success. It is the first point of entry and has the most initial knowledge of the organizations in the field. All this takes place in an environment of mutual respect, fairness, and supportive solidarity. | |
| What role within AffCom are you most interested in: advisory or voting member? | I can provide support as a voting member. | |
