Affiliate Recognition and Derecognition: This past quarter, AffCom recognized no new Affiliates due to the pause in recognizing new affiliates.
AffCom Conflict Intervention: AffCom is currently addressing eight ongoing affiliate conflict cases received in previous quarters.
Affiliate Recognition Pause Extension: The Wikimedia Foundation, together with the AffCom, has extended the pause on new affiliate recognition until September 1, 2026.
New Affiliate Model Development Efforts: The Affiliations Committee held collaborative meetings with the Global Resource Distribution Committee (GRDC) to explore the development of a new affiliations model.
Towards a Healthy Ecosystem of Wikimedia Organizations: Two major pilot initiatives were launched to address long-standing questions about the roles of movement organizations and the future of resource allocation.

Komitet Stowarzyszeń (wcześniej znany jako "Komitet Rozdziałów, potocznie AffCom) jest komitetem prowadzonym przez Społeczność komitetu Wikimedia, któremu powierzono doradztwo dla Zarząd Fundacji Wikimedia w sprawie zatwierdzenia nowych Stowarzyszenia ruchu Wikimedia: krajowych i podnarodowych rozdziałów, organizacji tematycznych i grup użytkowników.
Komitet został utworzony 15 stycznia 2006 r. na mocy rezolucji Rady Zarządzającej, wraz z kilkoma innymi komitetami Wikimedia. Jej pierwotny mandat obejmował koordynację rozwoju działów Wikimedia, które w tym czasie znajdowały się na wczesnym etapie organizacji, a także ułatwianie komunikacji między działami i między działami a Fundacją Wikimedia.
W 2012 roku, po dyskusji społecznościowych i wynikającej z tego rezolucji Rady Powierniczej, zakres Komitetu został rozszerzony o organizacje tematyczne i grupy użytkowników. Zgodnie z rezolucją Komitetu sporządził projekt jego karty, która została oficjalnie zatwierdzona przez Zarząd w sierpniu, kończąc przejście do Komitetu Stowarzyszeń. Uaktualniona karta została zatwierdzona w 2022 roku.
Komitet ds. Powiązań składa zarządowi zalecenia dotyczące uznania, zatwierdzenia i istnienia podmiotów stowarzyszonych ruchu Wikimedia oraz ułatwiania tworzenia tych organizacji. Innymi słowy, Komitet pomaga Wikimedianom z całego świata w samoorganizowaniu się w rozdziałach, organizacji motywowych i grup użytkowników, a także w uzyskaniu oficjalnego uznania od Fundacji Wikimedia.
Możemy pomóc w przygotowaniu regulaminu, odpowiedzieć na pytania dotyczące tego, czego Fundacja oczekuje od podmiotu stowarzyszonego, udzielić pomocy i porad w rozwiązywaniu wspólnych problemów technicznych, związanych z znakami towarowymi, administracyjnymi i budowaniem społeczności oraz - w stosownych przypadkach - zatwierdzić ograniczone wsparcie finansowe na rozpoczęcie działalności (np. pokrycie kosztów rejestracji i prowadzenia projektów początkowych).

The Affiliates Committee comprises volunteers selected for their enthusiasm and their skills in community organising, cross-cultural communication, reviewing bylaws, and providing governance advice for emerging organisations. There are currently 9 (nine) voting members with terms of three years each.
Voting members of the Committee are helped by non-voting advisors. Advisors provide the Committee with on-the-ground experience, language skills, and governance advice, and are able to take part in discussions at subcommittee meetings.
Certain Wikimedia Foundation staff members support the Committee in its operations and help the Committee to function effectively. They are actively present on the Affiliations Committee's non-public mailing list and internal wiki, and may provide advice to the Committee based on their knowledge and expertise. They are not voting Committee members.
The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees appoint liaisons to the Committee to facilitate communication and coordination between the Committee and the Board. The liaisons shall be the Committee's primary point of contact with the Board, and shall serve to update the Board on the Committee's activities and update the Committee on relevant Board activities. They may request information related to the Committee's operations as necessary to carry out their role. They are not voting Committee members.
