• Updates from WISCOM (Bobby):

- Presentation of the WISCOM, history, its members and staff liaisons,

- WISCOM is a helping body to the affiliates to ensure a fair and smooth process for Wiki Indaba conference,

- Process of selecting the next WikiIndaba hosting country after Nigeria.

• Updates from the African countries:

- Presentation of attendees and the countries' projects and activities: Partnerships with Libraries, Vikidia, WikiFundi, WikiLoves Africa, WikiLoves Women, WikiLoves Earth WikiCommons, Developers Program, Indigenous languages (Tamazight UG), WikiMooc, WikiNomad, Cultural heritage, upcoming WikiArabia in Morocco, WikiWomen GenderGap in Cote d'Ivoire.

• Indigenous Languages:

Piece of advice: find the people who are passionate about the languages to recruit them to edit on Wiki and help in preserving those languages.

• Strategy discussion:

Have Wikipedia to host non-tangible culture, oral cultural. For the non-written languages there is WikiLingua Libre, Wiki Video project, Animation videos of oral culture. For audios: we can create a portal to embed audios
