AfroCuration Ghana 2025

Wikimedians of Twi Language under the direction of the Global Open Initiative Foundation aims increase Ghanaian language curators by consolidating indigenous language Wikimedians in Ghana to document their stories on the various language Wikipedia.
The 2025 edition will focus on 7 indigenous languages, including Twi, Dagbani, Gurene, Dagaare, Ewe, Moore and kusaal This will help increase the content on the various language Wikipedia. And reduce language barriers to create visibility for local knowledge online.

During AfroCuration workshops, participants will be trained on how to edit the various language wikimedia and contribute to content related to African Arts and Aesthetics from English to Twi, Dagbani, Gurene, Dagaare, Ewe, Moore and kusaal.
The project will run from February 5th to October 30th 2025 with an in-person event on 22nd to 24th May 2025, focusing on enhancing the representation of Diversities in African Arts and Aesthetics.

[edit]Showcasing Diversities in African Arts and Aesthetics: The goal of this project is to highlight and showcase the diverse forms of African art, ranging from traditional to contemporary.
