Antitransclusionism favors isolating content changes so that local improvements do not trigger unintended cross-wiki edit disputes.
If a vandal or a malicious actor alters a highly transcluded source page, the vandalism instantly propagates across all target articles and may not be noticed by those overseeing the target page(s).
Transclusion forces multiple articles to display the exact same block of text or data. What is relevant and perfectly phrased for Article A might be slightly misleading, poorly contextualized, or bloated when automatically injected into Article B.
Transclusion requires navigating to an entirely separate template page to make a correction. This creates an invisible layer of bureaucracy and "gatekeeping," discouraging new contributors who don't understand how the template backend works.
Minimizing transclusions ensures faster load times, especially for users with slower internet connections or on mobile devices.
