Who we are?

Members of the Baoulé Wikipedia working group

Member of Wikimedia Community User Group Côte d'Ivoire, the Baule Wikipedia Working Group aims to popularise the Baule language on the Wikimedia Incubator, with a view to creating Baule Wikipedia. It was created in mid-November 2024.

Objectives

Our objectives include:

In-person working session of the Baoulé Wikipedia team

1. Work on the creation of Baule Wikipedia on the Wikimedia Incubator
2. Promoting and creating awareness about Baule Wikipedia
3. Increasing Baule related contents on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects
4. Recruiting native speaker, scholars and teachers of Baule language
5. Partnering with Baule cultural based institutions across the country
