Abstract

Employability is an option aptly focused through skill development. Skills required be tuning and channelizing bit by bit in a strategic and meticulous way. It is an earned aptitude with perpetual enthusiasm. A student, who voluntarily opts a transit from an aspirant to professional mind, the status of campus ready and corporate ready are two sides of coin. The much sought after individual fully equipped with two skills one is soft skills and the other is hard skills. The perfect blend of these skills shapes any aspirant into a person of employable skills. Globalization is ruling the roost, in response to need of it; any professional with required skill can be given carpet welcome. Globe is the paraphernalia for them to dawn the role of importance. Identification of employable skills paves a way of perfection towards the designed destination. The present study covers major parts that should be answered immediately to emulate the function of employability skills. It identifies, suggests and modifies some sets of skills to make use of the prospective opportunities available and made an argument of performance for an upcoming engineer. The ongoing research is obviously an extension of a step to the flawless survey made by NASSCOM on identifiable skills, by taking into major recommendations, the study wholly focuses on nine important facts of employable skills such as training needs, personal traits, academic skills, communication skills, soft skills, corporate skills, technical skills, job seeking skills, and finally schooling. The global trade body strongly recommends that the employable skills are the key factors that determine and uphold the advanced aspiration of the ever – changing corporate world. Thus the well knitted combination of the both skills is the clear key for any riddle posed by the misfit ting of employability.
