Regional report: CEE meet-up at Wikimedia Conference and spin-off projects[edit]
Traditional CEE meet-up at Wikimedia Conference[edit]
As part of Wikimedia Conference 2018 CEE Wikimedians held their traditional meet-up to provide updates from local communities as well as for discussing possible work on regional level. The topics included:
- Local activities update
- Update on upcoming CEEM 2018 in Lviv, Ukraine
- A proposal regarding holding an international WikiCamp for the CEE
- Discussion and comments on Wikimedia CEE Spring 2018
- Capacity building, mapping of current needs and challenges
- Brief introduction to Phase II of the movement strategy process
- Asaf provided a short introduction to Community Capacity Map

Cross-border CEE projects, planned during the Wikimedia Conference[edit]

During the Wikimedia Conference in April 2018 in Berlin, several new cross-border collaborations were planned between Wikimedians from different countries in the CEE region. All of these collaborations are open for other communities to join if they feel interested.
