CEE Women Campaign 2026

The CEE Women campaign 2026 aims to reduce the gender gap on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects by supporting communities in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region and Central Asia. Running from March to May 2026 around International Women’s Day, the campaign focuses on increasing content related to women and gender-related topics, as well as encouraging broader participation in Wikimedia projects. The campaign is implemented through locally organized short-term activities, and individuals, groups, and Wikimedia-affiliated communities can apply for funding of up to 500 EUR via an open call coordinated by the CEE Hub.
