CIS-A2K (Centre for Internet and Society - Access to Knowledge) is a campaign to promote the fundamental principles of justice, freedom, and economic development. It deals with issues like copyrights, patents and trademarks, which are an important part of the digital landscape.

 Wikisource  Wikidata

CIS-A2K is planning to invest some resources from June 2020 to create community movement resource (CMR) materials in English and different Indic languages for Wikidata and Wikisource projects in the form of tutorials, handbooks, infographics, videos, animations etc. The aim of this initiative is to build a pool of resource materials for these two projects eventually, which will serve as ready-made handy references for new as well as experienced users. Needs assessment[edit]

CIS-A2K requested community members to fill up needs assessment form, so that it would be easy to prioritize the topics for which resource will be invested. The needs assessment has been summarized below.

Wikidata

Wikidata needs assessment received 37 responses from community members. The responses are sorted below in descending order of number (kept in brackets) .
