A2K is going to host the ninth Train-the-Trainer (TTT) event in 2024, building on a decade of success. This year's program will emphasize experiential learning, offering participants hands-on activities to deepen their practical skills, just like previous ones, however, with new ideas. Additionally, TTT 2024 will focus on recognizing and addressing biases to promote inclusivity within Indian Wikimedia communities.
The event is co-hosted by the Odia Wikimedians User Group, adding diverse perspectives and enriching the experience. Participants can look forward to interactive workshops or trainings, networking opportunities, and the introduction of new tools and initiatives to support their training and leadership development.
Objective
[edit]The major and initial objective of Train The Trainer is Empower Community Leader: Develop leadership skills among participants, enabling them to mentor others and spearhead community initiatives.
The are a few new additions to the objectives for the TTT 2024 which are Enhance Training Skills, Promote Inclusivity, Facilitate Networking and Collaboration, Introduce Innovative Resources, Encourage Sustainable Growth.

Support
[edit]- CIS-A2K will provide full travel support to participants.
- The accommodation will be provided to participants by CIS-A2K.
- The Food will be served according to the participant's dietary preferences (non-veg, veg, etc.).
- If there will be any request for the special support, the participant must provide the enough information or details regarding that support.

[edit]- Call for Scholarships
- Call for the applications are opened from 26 July to 22 August 2024, 23:59:59 IST. A2K invited scholarship applications for:
- Any active Wikimedian from India, contributing to any Indic language Wikimedia project (including English) is eligible to apply.
- The given information must be correct and clear.
- An editor with at least 800 edits on zero-namespace before 30 June 2024.
- Anyone who has the interest to conduct offline/in-person Wiki events and to train others.
- Eligibility Criteria
There are some specific eligibility criteria that applicants must meet to be considered for the Scholarships:
- The first eligibility criterion is for individuals who are eligible to fill out the scholarship form. If you meet the following conditions, you are eligible to apply.
- The second eligibility criterion will be set by the Scholarship team. They will assess all applications received and select scholarship recipients based on a thorough and fair evaluation process, similar to the distribution of scholarships.
- Note: Individuals who have already participated in an earlier iteration of TTT cannot apply. Their application will not be considered.
- Diversity will be one of the parameters used to review the submitted responses.

Note: A2K will make the decision on scholarship recipients with the support from a volunteer jury based on criterion.
