What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?[edit]

Description - #1Lib1Ref is a global campaign that aims to make Wikipedia more reliable by calling on librarians to add missing references to articles. In 2021, Wikimedia Ukraine for the first time conducted an organized challenge in Ukrainian Wikipedia within 1Lib1Ref; 40 participants joined, and almost 900 edits were made during the campaign. This year, we'd like to expand on this work and highlight this important challenge even further.

Metrics - 600 articles improved, 40 participants

DerHexer, hello. Could you help publicize this? --OlenaVinsent (WMUA) (talk) 19:13, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Central Notice admin comments[edit]

  • @OlenaVinsent (WMUA): Sorry for the late response here. There are not many CentralNotice administrators and I was on vacations the last couple of days. However, the request was not added to the CentralNotice request page and only added by myself recently. As far as I can see now, this part of the campaign will end today. Does it make sense to create the banner and let it run later? How is it related to other 1lib1ref campaigns, do they need a CentralNotice campaign too? Is there anybody responsible for the whole project and will request a campaign, where ukwiki might be a part of it? Apologies for the late questions. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 15:48, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @OlenaVinsent (WMUA):, for these kinds of banners that only serve one language project, it is often easier to user your local SiteNotice: please see CentralNotice/FAQ#What_is_the_difference_between_a_Sitenotice_and_a_Central_Notice? for more information. I am closing this request now, but let me know if there are other ways we can help you. Ciell (talk) 17:15, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
