Hey, sure. One of the aims of this contest, as far as I know, is to attract new editors (awareness building basically) to Bangla Wikipedia by displaying the banner to anonymous users. I've had the chance to organize this contest a couple of times in the past. Most of the users participated in them were completely new, and during the prize giving ceremonies many of them mentioned that they actually came to know about the contest while they were reading articles on Bangla/English Wikipedia. ~ Nahid ^Talk 19:51, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

@Ciell and NahidSultan: The banner will end on 2022-03-06, however the contest will run until 31 March 2022. If there isn't any technical or any other restrictions, I am requesting to extend the banner by 2 more week please. We recently got grants for this contest, The banner will help us to achieve our target. Thank you. আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 23:32, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

I've extended the runtime, but with a lower diet: it will only show twice per 5 days instead of daily. I did a cookie reset as well, so people that might have discarded the banner previously will see it again. I hope this is a good compromise for you? Ciell (talk) 19:51, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
