[edit]Description - Following last year’s tradition, a contest has been organized once again on the occasion of World Tourism Day, with the aim of improving the overall quality of Wikivoyage.

- @Yahya I've checked everything, looks good to me. The only thing I noticed is the impression diet – 3 impressions per user per cycle with the cycle restarting every 2 days is quite a lot considering that the campaign is scheduled for four weeks. I recommend restarting the cycle 1x per week which still leads to 12 impressions which should be more than enough for users to decide if they want to take part... - Ahh indeed, @DerHexer fyi (you implemented last year's campaign [1]) am I too cautious with my advice to only repeat the cycle 1x per week in the one month campaign period? Johannnes89 (talk) 21:00, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- @Johannnes89 and Yahya: That was one of the outcomes from a survey that the campaigns are most effective when the banner is shown not too often in one cycle but the time of the cycle small. However, after 10 displays the effectiveness drops to almost zero. Indeed, I should have taken the 4 weeks more into concern and should have used a weekly repetition. With the new usage guidelines and a limitation to 2 weeks for most campaigns, this usually get implemented already. For 4 week campaign we should go with Johannnes’s recommendation.
