Hi Don-kun, looking at the settings you mention in the calendar, a Mediawiki:Sitenotice on the German Wikipedia actually sounds like the right fit for your purpose - see CentralNotice/FAQ#What_is_the_difference_between_a_Sitenotice_and_a_Central_Notice? for more information about the difference.
If you think I am wrong, could you maybe share with me why you would like to use a Central Notice campaign instead? Ciell (talk) 19:04, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

I wanted to target only articles in specific categories, as listed on w:de:Benutzer:Don-kun/Banner. Don-kun (talk) 21:33, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Logo

I recommend using File:Wikipedia-logo-v2.svg for this banner instead of the default meta logo, as it's aimed at Wikipedia users. --Johannnes89 (talk) 11:08, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

Don-kun I think a more specific logo would be very helpful to have a meaningful eye catcher that draws attention to the banner. DerHexer recommends in the context of his Admin-Con presentation a logo from commons:Category:SVG icons by subject. --Wnme 11:46, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
