  • @Paula (WDU): I have created the campaign and banner (preview). However, a few remarks:
    • Per the Usage guidelines, banner campaigns running for more than two weeks need approval from each community affected. Do you want to reach out to them on Spanish and English Wikidata channels or do you want to shorten the campaign duration?
    • You want to target Spanish and English users, but the banner and landing page texts were only provided in Spanish. We will not set up a campaign if you don't provide that. For that reason I have limited the campaign to Spanish as of now. Will you provide English texts as well?
    • Wouldn't it make sense to also take (at least experienced) users from the corresponding Wikipedia editions to Wikidata? But you can also limit it to Wikidata only.
    • The banner is not fully clear on the call to action: At least a “improve it <here>” or any kind of incentive to click the banner would make sense. — Additionally, the standard banner looks pretty boring. Have you considered using a different color? Please keep dark mode compatibility in mind.
  • Let's get these things clarified first before we start the approval process. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 16:10, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings, @DerHexer. Thank you for your remarks. Here are my responses:
    • I requested the banner for two weeks: from September 25 to October 10.
    • You're right, it was my mistake. It's better if it only appears in Spanish. I was thinking about those people who, without being logged in, can see the banner in Spanish. But I agree with leaving it as it is.
    • Yes, it does make sense. Could you set it up to reach those users on Wikipedia as well?
    • Yes, it looks boring. I don't think I was feeling very inspired that day. Here's another proposal within the original request.
Thank you again for your enlightening comments, they help me a lot as always. Best regards, Paula (WDU) (talk) 13:45, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Paula (WDU): I have changed everything accordingly (dates, Spanish only, all registered users, banner design). Please check everything, approve it and ping me again so that I can enable the campaign. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 14:10, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DerHexer, everything approved! Thanks again. Best, Paula (WDU) (talk) 14:47, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
