Banner/Campaign Diet:
To be determined by Central Notice admin
What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
@Myotus please read the CentralNotice/Usage guidelines. Banners are made with HTML and CSS, not Images or Wikitext. You can either ask for the standard banner (preview) by providing us with 1-2 lines of text (~50-70 characters) and an icon/logo to be used for the banner or you need to create the banner code for yourself. This [1] is nothing we can work with. Please also note that campaigns running longer than 2 weeks need community approval, you are currently requesting a campaign running for five weeks which we cannot do unless both the English Wikipedia and Commons community are fine with that. --Johannnes89 (talk) 11:27, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback and pointing me in the correct direction! I will get to work on making the changes and reduce the request to two weeks. This is the first time I have made a banner request, so it is a teachable moment for me. Myotus (talk) 13:25, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Johannnes89 Thank you for your work! As I mentioned before, this is the first time I have requested a banner so hopefully I know what to check. It looks good, and I don't see any issues. Links go to the right page. Its Geotargeting Minnesota, on Commons and en.wikpedia. Maximum of 2 impressions. Running July 1 - 15. Thanks again! Myotus (talk) 00:01, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted you to check to make sure I didn't mistakenly select the wrong options or made some copy+paste errors. Note that there are two impressions per cycle, the cycle restarts after 7 days -> users will see the banner four times, if they use their account in both weeks. @Johannnes89 It was pointed out to me that there is an error in the date of the Wiknic banner. The banner says "Sunday, July 19, 2025" the day of the week for July 19th is Saturday not Sunday.
Would it be possible to make a correct the text so it says "Saturday, July 19, 2025"? If not, that is okay, we will alert those that signed up of the error and send them a correction. My apologies for the error! Myotus (talk) 18:41, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
