What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
[edit]Description - Annual article writing challenge on Ukrainian culture and people.
Metrics - Last year 1,623 articles were created and improved during the campaign by 153 participants from around the world, and we expect a similar level of participation this year. 51% of participants reported that they learned about the contest through the CentralNotice banner, highlighting its key role in promoting the campaign. A similar results page will be published at the end of this year’s contest, featuring all relevant metrics and insights.

[edit]Hi @OlesiaLukaniuk (WMUA): Here’s the campaign and the banner (preview). I copied the banner and updated it with the new image, but the background color is the same as last year. Is that okay? In the request it seemed like you wanted a different color, but the code provided is the same. Let me know what you think. Best, --Soylacarli (talk) 21:32, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Soylacarli! Yes, everything is perfect, thank you. Regarding the color: it's okay, the background color I requested the previous year was not aligned with the text color, so they changed it to the one I mentioned this year, which is fine. OlesiaLukaniuk (WMUA) (talk) 16:24, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- awesome! I'll enable it then. Best, Soylacarli (talk) 19:25, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Soylacarli: Hiya! It looks like you've set the campaign to run on all projects, where this request notes only Wikipedia. I've updated the campaign to reflect that. Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 20:01, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Vermont: It doesn't look very dark mode ready to me, what do you think? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 11:55, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
- @DerHexer: It's definitely not good in dark mode, but it is still readable. Likely worth making changes for dark mode. Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 23:23, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
