- Am I right in assuming that you, Pharos and Jeremyb, will handle this campaign? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 11:22, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi Pharos, I had to disable both campaigns that were live since yesterday for WCNA.
- Per the phabricator:T388080 ticket, please ensure these and all of your future banners are compatible with the Mediawiki dark-mode settings.
- Also, please make sure to specify the campaign type in the drop down in the campaign settings to allow people to filter through their preferences the types of campaigns they see.
- Don't forget to list your campaign in the calendar and coordinate with others that might be targeting the same country/projects/languages. Currently the banner for International Women's Days is also running in the USA.

- Thanks, just noticed this now. I believe we've now addressed the issues that have been raised. Pharos (talk) 16:46, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Ciell, @Pharos I'm sorry, but the new "dark-mode" supported banner has low contrast ratio (2.66:1) and fails WCAG 2.0 standard of at least 3:1 for web accessibility. The background grey has to brighten up to #CCCCC at the minimum to create sufficient contrast. OhanaUnitedTalk page 18:10, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Pharos has fixed the background colour, thank you. In the future, between a user preference (dark mode) and an accessibility requirement, accessibility requirement must take precedence. OhanaUnitedTalk page 14:47, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

- March/April campaign —DerHexer (Talk) 20:41, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, in Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/WCNA2025Maylaunch, I hesitantly suggest these tweaks to the CSS, to make it (and future copies) work better in dark-mode (and a font-size increase so it works better in both modes) (disclaimer: I'm not a CSS, Codex, nor CentNotice expert [just enthused amateur], so please do test!). Ping @Pharos: FYI.
- Change line#5 from
background: #CCCCCC;tobackground: var(--background-color-interactive--active, #c8ccd1); - Change line#34 from
font-size: 13px;tofont-size: 16px;
- Change line#5 from
- Hope that helps, Quiddity (talk) 00:56, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
@Pharos: Can this be closed? :) —DerHexer (Talk) 17:58, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
