What is the purpose of Campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?[edit]

Description - Commons:Wiki Loves Earth 2017 in Greece. Based on previous contests and banner choices, we understood that one including the country's flag draws more attention to visitors (for example in SPC participation increased by 400% when we did such change). So we would like to use this banner instead of the generic one.
Date is in advance so people will be aware and hava a chance to get pictures from the places they visit on May Day.
Metrics - Number of uploaded images, number of new users (details)

What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?[edit]

Romaine, the 2017 banner page was created today. As I mentioned above we would like to have it displayed since 27 April. Can you enable it at least today? -Geraki TL 11:18, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Geraki: Why do you want it to have it online today? The contest for your country starts on 1 May it says on Commons. Romaine (talk) 11:32, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"Date is in advance so people will be aware and have a chance to get pictures from the places they visit on May Day."
Romaine, 1st of May is the day they can start uploading, not start creating pictures. On 1 May most Greeks either go out to celebrate nature (at least for a picnic), or go to demonstrate. Noone will see the banner until they return at home in late afternoon. Then they will have missed the chance to get some nice pictures from the place they visited some hours before (the nature, not the demonstration 😊). Also it as "three days weekend" (May Day is on Monday), where many Greeks tend to go for excursions or small vacations. It will be more successful if they are aware about the contest before they get out of their homes. --Geraki TL 11:46, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
