[edit]Description - Wiki Loves Yoruba Heritage is a national photography contest that aims to document, preserve, and celebrate the rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage of the Yoruba people in Nigeria. The contest invites photographers, photography enthusiasts, and members of the public to capture and share high-quality, freely licensed photographs that showcase the beauty, diversity, and living heritage of the Yoruba people.
Participants are encouraged to photograph historical landmarks, traditional architecture, festivals, arts and crafts, cuisine, traditional attire, music and dance performances, traditional occupations, sacred sites, markets, cultural landscapes, and other tangible and intangible expressions of Yoruba heritage.
What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?

[edit]- @Agbalagba: Please read the m:CNUG, especially about the maximum length of the campaign and community notifications before, and adapt the campaign accordingly. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 23:01, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
- Done as recommended. Thank you, DerHexer. Agbalagba (YWUG) T★C 11:24, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Agbalagba: I have created the campaign and banner (preview). However, there are still a few things to do before the campaign can be enabled:
- Please provide a translation of the banner text into Yoruba as this needed because you also target Yoruba Wikipedia.
- The landing page should ideally be translated into Yoruba, too. I can understand that marking them for translation might be a bit tricky. Two solutions come to my mind: Create another page in Yoruba that I can link in a banner, or add a summary in Yoruba to your English landing page so that native speakers also understand the process.
- The logo has a white background that should be transparent. For that reason I changed the background from light grey into white. But that does only work in light mode, not dark mode. A dark mode solution should be found (I prefer the transparent logo, but there are other solutions like a second logo that I could show whenever dark mode is used).
- As soon as everything is implemented, please check it, approve it and ping me so that I can enable the campaign. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 15:36, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
