1) It is enabled in 16 languages: en, ar, bcl, din, fr, ha, hu, ig, kcg, ln, mk, sr, sw, tr, yo. We generally prefer to have the main languages translated by the time it goes live. Would it be possible to ask the affiliate organizers to translate the banners into their own languages? Please ask them to use this link.
2) Given the amount of banners we currently have set to run on Commons over the next few weeks (way too many), and the hard limit of 1 month for banners, I've shortened the banner's end time to August 1. This means the banner would run on the requested projects from July 1 to August 1. If you'd prefer a different 1 month window, please let me know and I can implement that.

Hi @Vermont, I think Armenian (hy) is missing in the enabled languages.
Also I'm working toward providing the translations, all will be ready before the start date.
The selected period is fine for us.
Finally, is a there a way to vary the link destination? (for instance to link to local campaign page on a single wiki). It seems the translation does not contain the link. Thanks. – Ammarpad (talk) 15:51, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ammarpad, I've enabled hy. By vary the link, do you mean to have a different link target for the banner on each wiki? Vermont (🐿️🏳️‍🌈) 19:23, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. (My question above was missing some negation, which I corrected now). – Ammarpad (talk) 20:28, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ammarpad, thanks! Because we only want the link destination to vary on Wikipedias, so that Commons users with different languages set are not sent to different pages, I've made two campaigns:
  1. For Wikipedias, there is a campaign and a banner
  2. For Commons, there is a campaign and a banner
Still translate using this link, where people can both provide a local landing page link and translate the banner text. (do not include https://, just the url after that) The text is shown in both banners, however the local link is only used for the Wikipedia banner in that language. If no link or translation is provided, it will default to English.
The Commons banner's target is the Meta-Wiki landing page, as is the English translation for the Wikipedias banner. If you'd like any of this to change, please let me know. Vermont (🐿️🏳️‍🌈) 21:33, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. That's it. – Ammarpad (talk) 07:57, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ammarpad, the campaigns are enabled and will go live on July 1 at 0000 UTC. I'll check the translations a few times before that to approve new ones as they're added and ensure it's working properly. Vermont (🐿️🏳️‍🌈) 15:05, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All right, that's fine. – Ammarpad (talk) 05:59, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've published all translations that have been added as of now. I will likely not be around again until some time after the campaign starts, so if more translations are added between now and then I'd recommend finding an active CN admin who can approve them. I think translation admins may be able to approve translations too. Vermont (🐿️🏳️‍🌈) 12:42, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Vermont, not sure, I haven't tried it before. If I get a way to this, I might try helping as well. ─ The Aafī (talk) 18:09, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Jeez! I forgot. Taking a look at this, it didn't allow me to mark the translation as published. I could only mark it as ready. That makes me say translation admins are unhelpful in this case. ─ The Aafī (talk) 18:18, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
