| Abstract:
The CEE Hub is a network of communities and Wikimedia affiliates from the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) whose goal is to promote collaboration and provide services that support capacity development and community growth. This lecture aims to briefly introduce the history, structure, pillars and primary activities of the CEE Hub, as well as the demographics of the communities and affiliates in the CEE region that it supports. It will also provide information on how the CEE Hub can support the communities and affiliates in Central Asia as a closely related neighbouring region. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central Asia?
The members of the CA communities will learn how a regional hub can support the communities and affiliates in their work. Additionally, they will acquire knowledge about the process of establishing a regional hub, which may be relevant for formalising the future collaboration between the CA communities and affiliates. | |||
