The workshop will discuss the main threats to Wikimedia contributors, such as harassment, doxing, threats, persecution, etc. Ways to mitigate such threats will be covered: basics of digital safety, as well as the WMF's Trust & Safety Team - its role, responsibilities, and options of supporting the communities. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central Asia?
The presentation's goal is to improve online safety of the Central Asian editors through helping them avoid various threats they may encounter while contributing to Wikimedia movement, as well as providing them with some instructions about what to do when the threat materializes. The presentation will also provide the editors with instructions regarding reporting threats to the WMF's Trust & Safety Team. | |||
