The implemented activities
  • As i mentioned in my application, I went to the palm-leaf library which is closed access system to complete the first palm-leaf book of Tamil Wikisource. With the collected images and information, first i completed சிலையெழுபது/ஓலைச்சுவடி this page by all the palm-leaf images with CC-BY-SA license. Finally, i created the palm-leaf book namely File:சிலையெழுபது, ஓலைச்சுவடி.pdf which is one of the classical literature of Tamil language around 1180–1250 AD.
  • For the future collection, all the nuances of this palm-leaf book production are documented as four technical video tutorials with the documentation<br>

15. If you have additional recommendations or reflections that don’t fit into the above sections, please write them here. (optional)

I do use source editor. The fluxx interface looks like visual editor. So, i struggled to write the needed wiki (syntax) report sentences. If there is few video tutorial available, that will be time saving for the source editor users. Make a simple plan for the contributors who (residing in India) is not a income tax payer. Just deduct all the taxes before give the on ground money to the contributors. Appointing an auditor and explaining about WMF ecosystem is a difficult and time consuming.
