- Our primary objective is to address the significant knowledge gaps in content on Kannada and Tulu languages across sister projects projects of wikipedia. Currently, the vast majority of content is contributed by a small group of volunteers, which results in an imbalance in the topics that are covered.
- This imbalance is by several barriers: a widespread lack of awareness that anyone can edit, an editing interface that newcomers may find complex without proper guidance.

Metrics
[edit]- 17. What do you hope to learn from your work in this project or proposal? (required)
Through this project, I aim to understand how language learning, digital literacy, and community participation can come together to strengthen the Kannada and Tulu languages in Wikimedia ecosystems. I hope to learn not only what works in engaging new learners and editors, but also why certain approaches are more effective for small and regional language communities. This can be achieved from experience from my previous rapid project which made me more insightful for organizing a workshop by tackling obstacles and be attentive to be more involved with the community.
