  •  Participants will be trained in the process of contributing books and historical documents to WikiCommons and Wikisource.

* Empower language communities by preserving and digitizing literature and cultural heritage in underprivileged or less-represented languages.

* Train new editors in text digitization, proofreading, grammar correction, and Wikisource editing workflows.

* Encourage the participation of women, both as editors and as subjects of documentation, by identifying and working with texts authored by women.

* Improve language quality through collaborative grammar correction and standardization of texts.

* Foster long-term engagement by building a supportive and inclusive community around language Wikisource projects.
