위키는 신규 사용자가 가능한 한 빨리 건설적인 편집을 할 때 가장 지속 가능합니다. 신규 사용자는 탐구하고 배울 수 있는 공간이 필요합니다. 처음으로 기여하는 것은 어렵습니다. 첫째, 새로운 편집을 하려는 호기심이 필요하고, 둘째, 기여하려는 학습 곡선과 의욕이 필요하며, 셋째, 편집한 내용을 게시하려는 용기가 필요합니다. 편집자와 검토자는 위키의 품질을 유지하는 것뿐만 아니라, 새로운 사용자가 건설적인 편집을 하도록 장려하는 역할도 합니다.
목표
이 주요 관심 분야는 다음과 같은 위키미디어 재단 목표와 관련이 있습니다:
- WE1: 경험이 풍부한 기여자와 새로운 기여자 모두가 온라인에 모여 더욱 쉽고 좌절감을 덜어주며 신뢰할 수 있는 백과사전을 만들어냅니다.
