Description
背景
當新手能盡快做出建設性的編輯時，維基才能持續發展。新手需要有探索和學習的空間。 做出第一筆貢獻並不容易：一、做出新編輯所需的好奇心，二、做出貢獻所需的學習曲線和動力，三、發布編輯所需的勇氣。 編輯者和巡查員不僅負責維護維基品質，還負責鼓勵新手做出建設性編輯。
目標
本重點領域與以下維基媒體基金會目標相關：
- WE1：資深貢獻者和新貢獻者都在線上聚集在一起，更加輕鬆地建立值得信賴的百科全書。
- WE2：支援社群透過更容易存取、適應和改進的工具和支援系統有效縮小知識差距，確保值得信賴的百科全書內容成長。
目標受眾
- 巡查員和進階編者：負責提供支援和溝通，鼓勵新手繼續做出貢獻。
- 新手貢獻者：他們大多不了解各自維基的複雜性，不明白為什麼他們的貢獻要接受長時間的審查，也不明白為什麼他們的編輯可能不受待見。
