تحسين يسر الوصول إلى أداة Citoid ودمجها ونطاق المواد الخارجية التي يمكن أن تتعامل معها سوف يحسّن من مستوى المراجع على ويكيبيديا وويكي بيانات.
توليد المراجع هو تدفق عمل رئيسي لأي شخص يسعى لتحقيق أي مما يلي:
- زيادة مقدار المعلومات التي تحتوي عليها ويكيبيديا و/أو
- تحسين جودة المعلومات الموجودة بالفعل على ويكيبيديا
أداة Citoid هي أداة يتكل عليها الكثير من المتطوعين لتحقيق ما سلف وقد رفع المتطوعون عدد من الأمنيات التي تطلب تحسين تدفق العمل الحيوي هذا. تشتمل الأمثلة على: تيسير الوصول إليها أو دمجها في ويكي بيانات أو توسيع الأداة لتشتمل على مصادر أكثر جدارة بالثقة.
