Description

I've found that it is actually quite difficult to find others to help with writing articles, and I don't mean that in the technical way, such as finding sources, help with how to write on Wikipedia, etc. I mean it in the quite literal sense of having other collaborators to help with writing article(s). For instance, as a personal example, I've been working on creating a series of articles covering the fishing industries of all (or as many as possible) countries. This, however, has been made much more difficult considering that I'm having trouble finding people who would be interested in undertaking such a task, because I have not really found any specific place on Wikipedia to do that. I think it would be pretty neat to make it easier to be able to find others to help with editing.

I am aware there are features such as Wikiprojects available that can sort of do this, however, and unfortunately, many Wikiprojects are highly inactive. This makes it difficult for people to seek collaboration on subjects whose Wikiprojects are defunct or simply too inactive, or perhaps nonexistent. So, I think this feature could be an easier, more active way to be able to find others for helping with writing. It would also be broader and for all writing subjects.
