Mobilapp för Wiktionary (Community Wishlist/W14/sv)

Description

Det vore coolt att skapa en mobilapp för den engelskspråkiga Wiktionary som skulle kunna användas offline (andra språkversioner av Wiktionary skulle också kunna fungera men skulle kräva ytterligare stöd). En användare av appen skulle kunna ange ett ord på engelska och snabbt få översättningar till andra språk, eller tvärtom få en definition av ett ord på valfritt språk. Jag föreställer mig att en sån här app skulle vara extremt användbar för personer som lär sig ett språk och skulle inte vara särskilt svår att bygga.

Support Having suffered the Dictionary.com Android app rug pull personally, I would be overjoyed to see this come to fruition. Though I'm loathe to admit it, it's likely that any meaningful level of public appreciation for the immense value of resources like Wiktionary is now wholly contingent on the existence of high-quality mobile apps that facilitate their use.
