Description
Problem: For small wiki communities outside of the English Wikipedia, it is challenging to keep templates and infoboxes up-to-date. These communities often lack a large user base and struggle to keep pace with the frequent changes on the English Wikipedia. Consequently, their templates and infoboxes become outdated over time, they lack newly added options.
Posible solution: It would be highly beneficial for small wiki communities if templates and infoboxes were made global and could be translated via Translatewiki. Once translated, they could be easily implemented through a button, similar to the "Quickly add infobox" feature.

Support because it's also a subtask of W376：Better article translation system – issues with templates are a main difficulty / bottleneck / problem of translating articles and matching the templates such as their parameters to each other could solve this albeit there may be other approaches and this would only work for templates where this is used Prototyperspective (talk) 13:12, 22 October 2025
