Sockpuppetry is endemic to highly charged political pages on Wikipedia, making the playing field uneven and complicating efforts to assume good faith, and compromise with opposing perspectives.
- Automatically analyze patterns of user sessions and logins to improve checkusers and sockpuppet detection
- Surface sockpuppetry before an SPI is filed to trusted users proactively
- Reduce likelihood of needing large range blocks by improving the accuracy and precision of sockpuppet detection
