Restore the old possibility to overlook new files in Wikimedia Commons without the details. (Community Wishlist/W184)

Description
Formerly I had the possibility to overlook hundreds of new files in Wikimedia Commons without extensively using the scroll function and going to new pages. Nowadays the function is not available (or I could not find it) and every page is filled with a table with many, many details of the image. Just a possibility to chose from real-time NFP packed packed-hover zonder regels I want an extra button that shows say 50/60 images on a page, 500 without refreshing, so that I can choose an image and add an appropriate category. In my case: most ships and technical images.
