Description

On the English Wikipedia, it's possible to hover over mainspace article links on other pages and see a preview of the link destination. This currently only works for mainspace articles. I would like this to also be possible on transwiki links. For example, If I link to Wiktionary on my English Wikipedia userpage, I'd like to be able to hover over that link and view a preview of the definition.

User space previews may prove to be more difficult, since they have unreliable formatting. Mostly a transwiki preview system, or even just a way to make transwiki links a little more intuitive, would be awesome.

Support especially Page Previews for Wikipedia links on Commons; there are also some pages in userspace because drafts get deleted so quickly so to clarify it would be useful for these, not the user:username pages Prototyperspective (talk) 23:40, 10 October 2025
