Support Why is the Wikimedia Foundation hiding them in the first place? Categories are very useful to many and many editors spend huge amounts of time to organize things in countless categories just so the WMF hides them away. This is not a "Long-term opportunity" – please simply undo the hiding of the Wikipedia and Commons categories and show the plain hyperlinks at the bottom. They should never have been hidden. On Commons, undoing WMF's hiding of categories is the top #1 wish of the Technical survey. It would be a small change, would have a big impact, and is overdue. Support This is particularly important for Commons, because categories there are far more important than in Wikipedia or other sister projects. Jmabel (talk) 06:02, 5 December 2025

Support Categories are extremely important on Commons. Mobile users shouldn't be relegated to an incomplete interface. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:17, 5 December 2025
