Description

My understanding of the current items at the top of a page (as an editor) is that if I deal with various preferences - I can have four lines/items:

57 revisions since 2003-07-23 (+1 day), 89 editors, 1,328 pageviews (30 days), created by: xx (210,106) See full page statistics
Wikidata: Nicolas Freeling (Q779972), English novelist (1927-2003)
Alias: Nicolas Davidson
British novelist (1927–2003)

It appears that the top page description, the wikidata link, and the short description are separate entities, may help the possibility of unification/rationalisation/combination - I might have missed phabricator conversations explanations, about the top of the page. It can be very difficult to explain to new users the preference tweaking of the four areas to coordinate them to get a good overview.

Support I support for a default option but without the first line, as not everyone understands it. Henrydat (talk) 15:21, 30 December 2025
