I once wrote an article on the sandbox page before moving it to its own page, and since then I haven't been able to empty it, as whenever I tried to delete it, it told me it was a vandalism attempt. I have not been able to turn the sandbox page back to a blank page. Please allow the sandbox page to be emptied as it is not an article page.
